First World War motor ambulance

The history of emergency transportation | British Red Cross

It is very useful to learn First Aid,you never know when you made need to use it ( hopefully never ) from everyday accidents like a cut finger or sprain, through to a heart attack, you will be shown what to do, you will then know how to deal with it and maybe save somebodies life.

If you are lucky, your company may pay for the course if they need you as a first aider.

It is also very important to give blood at regular intervals, no matter what your blood group is.

It is useful to keep a First aid kit in your car and home, personalise it for your use include in it any medication that you may be on.

You can pick up some very useful leaflets from the St Johns Ambulance.
